Collect that last bit of dust from your DeWALT miter saw while enjoying safer, cleaner cuts!
This replacement throat plate for DeWALT DWS716 & DWS716XPS miter saws features a unique dust shroud that attaches to the bottom side of the throat plate to redirect the dust that falls below the table, sending it back to the dust collection where it belongs.
It also features a replaceable, zero-clearance insert for safer, cleaner miter cuts. The replaceable insert slides in or out from the front of the saw without the need to remove the throat plate.
NOT INTENDED FOR BEVEL CUTS! The throat plate and dust shroud are intended to be used with the blade at 90 degrees to the table. You can enjoy dust-free, quality cuts at any miter angle your saw was designed to make, but bevel cuts will destroy the dust shroud and may damage the throat plate as well.
WORKS FOR THIN & FULL KERF BLADES! Designed with just the right amount of clearance to account for the flex that can happen when not pulling perfectly straight down on the handle.
DOES NOT FIT THE DEWALT DW716 OR DW716XPS! The "DW" and "DWS" saws share a lot in common, but their working geometry makes them just different enough that this dust collection throat plate isn't interchangeable between the two. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK WHICH SAW MODEL YOU HAVE BEFORE ORDERING! (Model numbers can be found on the top side of the motor.)

This purchase comes with (1) dust collection throat plate, (1) replaceable insert and (1) dust shroud. Insert comes preinstalled in the throat plate, dust shroud needs to be glued to the throat plate using cyanoacrylate glue ("super glue") via the alignment tabs. This really does cut down significantly on dust from my miter saw. I combined it with a rubber fitting from the big box store to attach it to my shop vacuum. Together, it’s a vast improvement!

I couldn't possibly give this a good review . the saw cost me about 400.00 ( DWS716 with the light ) basically the dust collection was a 1/4 of the price of the saw ........lol still trying to figure out how to make it work. there is no way to log in and figure out if you ( I )bought the wrong one .......go figure customer service very lacking......typical you you tube give me your money........thanks chump....figure it out yourself. I think the person is very intelligent that designed it ......but if average people can't make it work......good for him not so good for the one buying it.In all fairness he has some really useful information on his channel but this one I wish I had kept my money

I ordered all these parts and couldn’t figure out to use them because they were the same as came on my saw DWS716 . I contacted Jodee and got a response the next morning with a link to a video that explained everything . I only needed the rubber boot . The zero clearance plate set up really works . So don’t sell your miter saw because of the dust problem get the boot and zero plate and be happy
