This silicone dust boot can be added to the DeWALT DW716 or can replace the factory dust boot on the DeWALT DWS716, to collect the majority of the unbearable amount of dust created by these miter saws.
It's made from 2mm thick silicone for the perfect balance between weight, rigidity, and durability, and works at all but the most extreme compound angles. Installs into the dust port and attaches to the metal or plastic bracket behind the blade. Two sets of holes are pre-punched for mounting to the saw using the factory screws from the plastic bracket on DWS716 & DWS716XPS saws, or to an Inspire Woodcraft REPLACEMENT BRACKET.
Can also be installed on the metal bracket of the DW716 & DW716XPS saws with suitable magnets (not included).

I will modify it to fit my ols DW705.
I never received my order. I wrote to inquire and never heard back. There is no phone number to call.

A must to attach a dust boot.
I swapped out the OEM.
The magnets didn’t hold the boot securely and it slipped and got damaged.
This new bracket allows you to attach a boot securely and not interfere with even the blade guard rollers.
I installed this on my Dewalt model DW706. I only had one minor issue with the “keel” on the zero clearance insert that I had to take a bit off of to clear the pivot under the saw. This system works unbelievably well. Thanks for an excellent product!
