This silicone dust boot can be added to the DeWALT DW716 or can replace the factory dust boot on the DeWALT DWS716, to collect the majority of the unbearable amount of dust created by these miter saws.
It's made from 2mm thick silicone for the perfect balance between weight, rigidity, and durability, and works at all but the most extreme compound angles. Installs into the dust port and attaches to the metal or plastic bracket behind the blade. Two sets of holes are pre-punched for mounting to the saw using the factory screws from the plastic bracket on DWS716 & DWS716XPS saws, or to an Inspire Woodcraft REPLACEMENT BRACKET.
Can also be installed on the metal bracket of the DW716 & DW716XPS saws with suitable magnets (not included).

I purchased this collection kit and installed it incorrectly. After I installed it correctly, it worked very well. Customer Service is excellent. Will be purchasing more products if I have more dust collection needs.
Installed the boot, and it works great! I am building an awesome Modular Miter Station on my YouTube channel (Trap Door Woodworks), and this boot is an integral part of that build. My HEPA shop vac needs cleaning, and I expect the boot will work even better once that is done. Now it's onto the ambient dust, and I should have a dust-free miter saw once that is done, but as-is, I'm quite satisfied 😊
