Shop Vacuum Bleeder Valve Suction Limiter

Get high-end performance from almost any standard shop vacuum with this adjustable suction limiter! Perfect for sanding and more sensitive detail extracting.

Reduction collar has positive stops in quarter increments to easily repeat suction amount and rotates from both left and right sides for ease of use. Limits ft/min by roughly 1/3 to 1/2 half when fully opened. Add to an extractor with a factory limiter already installed and reduce the suction roughly two-thirds from full power. (Results vary between machines, hoses and testing equipment.)

Simply plug the Suction Limiter into the port on your vacuum and then plug your favorite vacuum hose into the Limiter. It's that easy!

Fits shop vacuums and extractors from Ridgid, Shop-Vac, Craftsman, DeWALT, Festool and more that use a 2-1/4" (57mm) inside diameter hose port on the machine.

Note: The world of vacuum and dust collection hoses and fittings is a confusing and frustrating one. Most modern shop vacuums and extractors use a 2-1/4" (57mm) ID port to plug hoses into, but that port is commonly referred to as 2-1/2". Most modern hoses, regardless of the hose cuff or attachment size, or even hose diameter, have a roughly 2-1/4" (57mm) outside diameter "male" hose cuff that is meant to plug into the vacuum. If you're wondering if this Suction Limiter will fit your vacuum, the answer is most likely "yes".
