Festool KS & KSC 60 Upgraded Dust Boot Replacement

The Festool KS & KSC 60's dust collecting capabilities just got a whole lot better with this one-piece replacement Dust Boot (or Chute, or Apron, or Cloths, call it what you want).

The design of this boot brings the sides substantially farther forward compared to the factory boot, providing much better coverage when cutting thinner materials like baseboard, trim and crown molding. This is exactly where the factory boot starts to underperform.

We designed it to work at all bevel and miter angles with stock up to around one inch or 25mm thick. Why up to one inch or 25mm? Because that's about as thick as you can slide cut at a 45-degree bevel both left and right with the KS & KSC 60. The boot can still be used with materials thicker than one inch or 25mm under more "normal" operations.

Installs reusing the T20 screws that are used to secure the factory boot. Simply remove the two screws, install the Upgraded Dust Boot, and you're done.

3D printed using high quality TPU, a flexible, impact resistant rubber/plastic hybrid that will move and bend around materials.

Please keep in mind that this boot may come in contact with the blade and/or fence with certain cuts. In some situations, you may find it necessary to open the fences up a bit to prevent interference or simply to allow the boot to stay open longer for better collection. It is highly recommended to test run new cuts to check for potential clearance issues before actually making a cut.
