Free zero clearance inserts for life!
These are all the files you need to be able to 3D print your own zero clearance throat plate with removable inserts and dust collection for your DeWALT DWS716 miter saw! Printing yourself means you can print replacement zero clearance inserts whenever you need new ones, saving both money and time.
Once printed, you will have a new throat plate with replaceable zero clearance inserts, and a dust shroud that attaches to the throat plate, under the table, that will capture any of the dust that tries to escape under the table or in front of the saw when making non-bevel cuts.
Also included is the print file for the replaceable blade bracket to attach the upgraded dust boot, should you need it.
.zip file includes (4) STL files for printed parts and a four-page PDF containing part orientation, print settings and assembly instructions.
Ideal to print on a 256mm x 256mm print bed due to part orientation.
Instructions are for use with a .4mm nozzle.

David Briggs-Blue Valley High School We bought the works...dust collection throat plate w/ zero clearance dust insert, and dust collection boot...all for the DWS716. We got rid of the big/bulky "custom made" dust collection box made to catch everything (it did, but then we had to clean the saw dust out of the area out behind the saw daily. This setup catches the dust (into the mid/high 90% range). At the end of the day after lots of cutting, a quick air hose whish clears out all the dust to the floor for a quick sweep up. MUCH easier! We didn't end up needing/using the replacement bracket...the original worked fine. I'd recommend this setup to you if you want to cut down on the sawdust cleanup.
